The Fundraising Coaches Curriculum address 4 standards: (1) Inclination towards learning (learning-style preference). (2) Information structured and presented in a way that can be easily grasped (multi-modal curriculum), using verbal and nonverbal repetitive demonstration through drills, video, and diagrams to increase STEM learning retention. (3) Sequential (step-by-step) instruction through practice, to increase knowledge while developing athletic skills. (4) Rewards are used to encourage sportsmanship characteristics regardless of win or loss... going beyond the sport; focusing on learning (Bruner 1960).
The lesson plans are scientifically based, considering easy, medial and advance, according to age, grade, perceived knowledge and physical ability, accommodating both active and reflective learning styles to increase balanced learning. The workshop activities prohibit discrimination of race, religion, origin and disability through structured focused team play interaction.
